In a small bowl, combine flour, salt, pepper and cayenne pepper. Mix thoroughly. In a large skillet, saute dredged shrimp in olive oil for 5 minutes over high heat. Toss shrimp often to prevent burning. In the same pan, saute the garlic, shallot, parsley and oregano over medium heat for 3 minutes; stirring constantly.
Shrimp are also found in Latin and Caribbean dishes such as enchiladas and coconut shrimp. Other recipes include jambalaya, okonomiyaki, poon choi and bagoong. Shrimp are also consumed as salad, by frying, with rice, and as shrimp guvec (a dish baked in a clay pot) in the Western and Southern coasts of Turkey.
Shrimp is a favored choice among seafood-lovers. This delicacy is eaten steamed and chilled, with a cocktail or tartar sauce, and is also enjoyed in combination dishes, such as shrimp and grits or a seafood salad.
Shrimp goes equally well with white or red pizza sauces. Toppings that pair well with shrimp include heirloom tomatoes, mozarella cheese, basil and olives. Shrimp make classic addition to quiche and can be added to scrambled eggs, omelettes or frittatas.
