Instructions Heat the grill. Heat an outdoor grill to high heat (about 450°F), or until you can hold your hand an inch over the grates for only one second. Season the beef. Place the ground beef on a baking sheet and gently pat it into a log about 2 feet long. Shape the patties. Pinch the ground beef closed around the onions. Grill the burgers.
Directions. Preheat grill for high heat. In a large bowl, mix the ground beef, egg, bread crumbs, evaporated milk, Worcestershire sauce, cayenne pepper, and garlic using your hands. Form the mixture into 8 hamburger patties. Lightly oil the grill grate. Grill patties 5 minutes per side, or until well done.
